A fundamental concept in timetable and train order operation (TT&TO). Trains are superior to each other by right class and direction. Class and direction are conferred by schedule and right is conferred by train order. Right is superior to class and direction, 1st class trains are superior to 2nd class, and so on. Direction is superior between trains of the same class.
